Hi Karin - I'm an old friend of Matt's (did a search out of curiosity and found your blog). Matt and I met on a youth retreat during high school. I'm very sorry to read of what he has been going through lately. Please let him know that my thoughts and prayers are with both of you. (Also, it was a long time ago, but please tell him sorry I missed his call after we ran into each other at the bookstore, and I didn't call back the next day because I knew he was going out of town.)

The little blue hat looks like it came from the nursery. Does it have pink stripes too? And speaking of nurseries, if Matt is ever pregnant, he will be one step ahead in the medicine trials. I was given both Zofran and Compazine for nausea - neither of which worked for me. Glad to hear it is over for the time being. We'll be anxious to hear about the dr. We love you guys!
